**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure timely payments.
- Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage to streamline processes.
- Provide support in tax preparation and filing as required.
- Prepare invoices for VAT return

**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills.
- A relevant qualification in accounting or finance is advantageous but not essential.

Opportunity for this to become full time position if work rate allows.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
