**Join Our Team as an Electrical Estimator** - **MDE Installations Ltd. is seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. As the Electrical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the effective management of our Estimating Department, ensuring projects are tendered successfully, delivered on time, and within budget. Your expertise will be instrumental in winning new tenders and bringing exciting projects to our business.**_ **Key Responsibilities**: - Full management of the Estimating Department. - Collaborate closely with Contracts Managers and the Procurement Team to ensure efficient tendering and project delivery. - Present design plans to the project team using AutoCAD and Revit. - Undertake Tender Enquiry activities, considering both commercial and technical aspects while adhering to our non-collusive policy. - Assess and record project risks via the risk register. - Provide technical guidance, advice, and bid support, including tender programmes and methodologies. - Conduct site visits when necessary to understand tender requirements. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry networks and clients. - Assist in the development of O&M Manuals. **Qualifications**: - Applicants should come from an electrical background, ideally as a Qualified Electrician or holding an Electrical Engineering Degree. - Skills, Competencies, and Other Qualities: - Proven experience with Trimble estimating and costing systems. - Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Revit. - Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure competitive prices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - High level of competency in MS Office packages. - Excellent verbal, written, and numerical skills. - Ability to multitask and thrive in a demanding environment. - Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills. - A team player with a positive "can-do" attitude. **What We Offer**: - A competitive and comprehensive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications. - Full-time employment with stable career progression and development opportunities. - Salary to be determined based on experience. - **Join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of MDE Installations Ltd.**_ MDE Installations Ltd. - Powering Your Future **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Benefits**: - Company pension - On-site parking Schedule: - Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: - Omagh, County Tyrone: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Electrical Estimation: 3 years (preferred) Work authorisation: - United Kingdom (required) Work Location: In person
