1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Job DescriptionLocation: Astec Industries Europe Limited, 3 Bankmore Way EastAs a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in Telestack's sales and engineering operations by detailing 2D and 3D drawings for machines, projects and new products. Working closely with the Sales Team and Engineering departments, you will ensure high level sales support including technical drawings, layouts, technical specifications and commercial proposals.About The RoleSales and Technical Support (Primary Focus)Collaborate with the Sales Team to deliver cost‑effective technical solutions tailored to customer needs.Collaborate with the Sales Team by discussing technical details and proposals via MS Teams calls and site visits.Manage sales opportunities from inquiry to proposal to in‑house management to post‑sale follow‑up.Support the generation of technical proposals, sales specifications and marketing materials when required.Liaise with internal departments, including Engineering, Aftermarkets and Factory Personnel, to align costs, technical solutions and project goals.Collaboration and CommunicationWork closely with stakeholders, including the Sales Team, Engineering and suppliers, to develop accurate cost assessments and ensure smooth project delivery.Participate in meetings with suppliers, customers and trade events as needed.General Engineering SupportSupport concept designs for new or modified equipment to aid cost validation.Assist with 3D modelling, detailing and layouts where necessary to support sales efforts.Travel RequirementsWilling to travel worldwide by air and auto as required (+/- 4–8 weeks per year), hold a valid driver’s license, be able to obtain a passport and have the financial means to travel when required. Approved expenses will be reimbursed.Skills Neededistent with Telestack and Astec Industries technical and sales environment.Required CriteriaBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Mining, Geological or Industrial Engineering required.At least two years’ relevant experience in a comparable position.Effective oral and written communication.Good interpersonal relations skills when dealing with management, sales, dealers, customers and inter‑company personnel.Ability to manage stressful situations including equipment and/or process problem resolution with customers, dealer personnel, etc.Understanding of costing processes, particularly for mechanical equipment and engineering projects.Experience with material estimation, including steel and purchased parts.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Desired CriteriaKnowledge of hydraulics, electrics, or mechanical systems is an advantage.Experience in preparing technical drawings or layouts.Familiarity with PhotoView 360 or similar rendering tools.Closing DateThursday 11th December, 2025Contract TypeFull timeSalaryBased on Experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
