You would be joining one of the UK's leading insurers to help scale one of their finance brands in Manchester. The role is fully REMOTE however their state-of-the-art offices are based in Manchester closeto public transport and offers free parking (should you wish to go in.) You will be responsible for taking ownership over the company reporting function, and providing key business insights through analysis using a variety of data sources. We aren't looking for someone with "loads" of experience for this role, but we are looking for someone who can make an impact from day one and is confident standing on their own two feet. There is a huge amount of investment and there is a lot of opportunities to gain experience from other departments in the business, such as their migration of on-prem systems to an established Azure Platform as well as their Power Bi Migration. **This role is initially being offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract with a lot of opportunities to move to a permanent position in the future.** **Key Duties** - Engage with business experts to capture reporting and analytics requirements in structured data mapping documents. - Encourage and support self-serve reporting and dashboards in Power BI that improve operational efficiency and add value to the business. - Produce visually appealing reports and dashboards using a variety of data sources - Carry out database queries to support analysis - Support other departments on projects when required. - Assess data requirements to mitigate risk and ensure insight is delivered securely. **Requirements**: - SQL - Experience with a reporting Tool - Ideally PowerBI - Data Visualisation **Next Steps**: If you a Data Analyst and you are looking to progress with an organisation that has a fantastic approach to working in a supportive and creative environment, then look no further - this is the role for you Interviews for this role will be held imminently.
