**The Role**

We have a brand-new role for a Senior Data Analyst with skills in Python and Data Modelling to work with one a Manchester based company who have a number of really important projects going which will give you access to some of the most diverse data setsaround.

This is well suited to a data analyst who is looking for a new challenge and has some previous experience in data models. You will be using bespoke models to look at a wide range of projects, initiatives and scenarios which effect a large number of people.You will get to work with a really wide data set which has a huge range of different types of data within it. The role will also include preparing reports for use by both internal and external stakeholders, across a range of companies.

For this role we are looking for someone who has experience of Data Models or Data Modelling - principally in Python but SQL or R can be considered. You will also be using PowerBI in the role plus a couple of other modelling tools - training can be providedon these but we are looking for a background in Python and Data Models.

**Responsibilities.**
- Design and Definition of Data Models
- Management, update and improvement of models
- Testing scenarios and hypothesis using a variety of modelling techniques.
- Provide key input into technical delivery of analytical activities
- Provide data, analytics and assurance services on existing models
- Prepare reports for use by internal and external stakeholders

**The Company**

The role is based in Central Manchester (close to all major transport links in the city) and based on a Hybrid work pattern with 2 days a week in the office.

**Requirements**:

- Programming - Python is ideal, SQL / R can be considered
- Experience with Data Models
- Power BI or other visualization tool.
- Bonus - not essential - Cube or Saturn - training can be provided on these
