Picu Out of Hours Ward Administrator

The ward administrator role is an exciting opportunity to join our administration team on the PICU ward, which provides first class administration and reception services to the division.
The PICU ward is unique in that it offer's care to children from many different specialities and provides specialist input for both surgical and medical care. Patients on PICU ward stay for a varying length of time and this can range from day case procedures to long stay admissions.
The diverse range of patients means that there is plenty of opportunity for development of skills and knowledge and this is supported by our education and senior nursing teams. The vast range of clinical experience that can be developed on PICU ward ensures the delivery of an excellent standard of clinical care and provides a whole host of learning opportunities. The ward team's have a wide range of skills to share and their supportive approach enables new members of the team to develop their confidence and expertise
W _e are looking for a Band 3 administrator who has previous administration experience and either experience of working in an NHS organisation or a desire to work within a healthcare organisation. They will be able to communicate with a range of patients and colleagues and possess excellent team working, negotiation and organisation skills. Above all, they will be committed to helping us deliver excellent patient care._
