This leading, well-established software platform with its technical team based in Leicester, is actively seeking an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join the team in Leicester
Within this varied Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer role your responsibilities will include:
- providing 3rd line infrastructure support for the organisation
- assisting with technical queries from the service desk to be able to resolve customer incidents
- receive, prioritise, document and actively resolve customer requests
- Liaise with other IT team members to create and maintain high-performance systems at large scale
- Maintain the incident ticket database, ensuring incidents are set to the correct priority
The successful Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer will have strong experience with
- 4 years+ IT Infrastructure experience
- VMware
- Storage (Qnap, VSAN, Netapp etc.)
- On-premise and cloud configuration and support experience (AWS and Azure)
- Networking experience WAN / LAN / WLAN, specifically Aruba VRF ArubaOS Switch and ArubaOS-CX
- Firewall configuration/maintenance / Troubleshooting - advanced enterprise firewalls
