Rapier Employment are looking to employ **Warehouse Assistants** for our client in Kidlington, Oxfordshire.
Our client became a wholesaler in 2017 to it's own brand of vegan, cruelty free and biodegradable detergent. In 2019 they started wholesaling bactericidal cleaner, toiletries and a growing range of food products to over 500 shops and outlets across the countryin returnable containers.
Our client is now at an exciting time of expansion and will be moving premises from Cowley to Kidlington. You will be required to start at the Cowley site but will be moving permanently to Kidlington within the next few weeks. There will be an additional travelsupplement whilst travelling from Kidlington to the Cowley site.
Opportunity to go permanent
**Shifts**:

- 06:00 - 14:00
- Monday to Friday

**Pay**:

- £10.90 per hour

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Use warehouse equipment to move supplies within the storage space
- Pick customer orders, checking off accurately on the delivery notes
- Assist in packing vans following the lead of the driver
- Clean and relabel returning product containers following warehouse procedure
- Refill containers of products using gravity and electric pump systems
- Maintain the warehouse equipment in a good state and keep the warehouse clean and tidy
- Assist in stock monitoring, ordering and other warehouse processes
- Follow procedures and policies agreed by the partnership for quality control and data collection
- Comply and participate in procedures laid down by the Health and Safety policy
- Take part in general team activities of the partnership

**Required skills**:

- Able to consistently show attention to detail, particularly when picking, packing and checking orders
- Able to follow procedures in place to promote warehouse safety
- Able to lift and manoeuvre 20kg containers safely
- Numerate and literate sufficient for simple form based picking and packing
- Happy to work alone or as part of a small team
- Confident in spoken and written English language
- Desirable not essential - UK car licence holder
- Desirable - Forklift experience. Essential - Willing to be trained in Forklift truck usage
- Desirable not essential - Experienced in use of electric pallet trucks and stackers
