Technical Pre-sales and Implementation Manager

The successful individual would be comfortable advising senior management, presenting reports and ideas.
**Desired Behaviours & Competences**
- Background working in a pre-sales, implementation, solution architect/ design, business technology partner, or technical account manager role
- Strong Stakeholder Engagement - the ability to work closely with senior individuals both internally and externally
- Experience working within the eCommerce payments space with a strong knowledge of Payment Gateways, Cards Payments, Acquiring, 3D Secure Alternative Payments, and other supplementary payment functions
- Professional experience within a Technical environment is key
- Experience working with APIs
- Proficient in the use of Postman
- Experience working with Enterprise Merchants in a Technical Pre-Sales and or Implementation capacity.
- Experience in the submission of responses to RFP/ RFI
- Strong presentation skills and comfort presenting to large groups of senior external stakeholders
- Ability to think outside the box and find solutions that could help change the business in the long run
- Experience working within large financial services organisations is highly advantageous
- Strong experience in an Implementation/Delivery environment
- Confidence to lead, challenge peers and senior managers constructively
- The ability to work proactively within an indirect supervision environment will also be required
- Strong team-working skills to pull together necessary resources to deliver what is required for our customers
**Key Responsibilities**
- End to end management of payment gateway implementation from Technical Kick-off through to live processing
- Will be responsible for the creation and management of tools and frameworks required to enhance both the Technical Pre-Sales and Implementation process.
- Rigorous planning, MI, and comm's to ensure key stakeholders are suitably informed of progress, issues, and risks.
- Working with key stakeholders to quickly address risks and issues that may prevent go-live.
- Collaborate and support the Sales team with responding to RFPs/ RFIs
- Running requirements gathering sessions with all key stakeholders
- Document required solution to deliver to all business requirements
- Setup merchants to deliver to their requirements.
- Support merchants with integration and testing
- Support merchants through the go-live process
- Providing MI to VP Product and Implementation and key stakeholders, ensuring complete transparency of progress and emerging risks/issues.
