An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Marketing Account Executive based in London.From Grazia to Heat, Closer to Take a Break, this is your chance to work with some of the biggest names in magazine publishing. It’s a lively, fun sector inwhich you will be exposed to many career avenues such as consumer goods trade marketing, retail analytics and publishing management.
As the Graduate Marketing Account Executive your duties will include:

- Contributing ideas for, planning and assessing retail promotions.
- Trade marketing support, budgeting, sales forecasting and ROI analysis.
- Organising distribution and retail issues to ensure availability in-store.
- Liaison with magazine publishers and the national accounts sales team.
- Competitor analysis, market planning.
- Modelling what-ifs for different commercial scenarios.

A successful Graduate Marketing Account Executive will have the following skills and experience:

- A confident user of Excel spreadsheets with good numeracy skills.
- A good team player and communicator, in meetings and in writing.
- Commercial experience or a recent graduate with the above skills.

Closely related experience could have been gained in areas such as retail merchandising, allocator, buying, or in another analytical or account management environment such as market research, but is not necessary.You could also be a recent or pending graduatewho has good familiarity with MS Excel. You will certainly be used to a fast moving data-rich environment where time and accuracy matter, decisions have to be made and responsibility taken early.With products turning over so fast and such a diverse retailuniverse to serve, from supermarket to corner shop, there is never a dull moment.
