Insight Training is a privately owned company, formed in 2014. We provide financial reporting, auditing and practice assurance technical training alongside financial and commercial awareness and business skills training throughout the UK. We are currentlya team of four based in locations around the UK, with a wider team of associate trainers employed on a freelance basis.

**Location**

With a rapidly growing portfolio of clients, we’re currently looking for a Financial Reporting and Auditing Technical Trainer and File Reviewer to join our team. The role will involve travel to clients across the UK. When you are not working at client premises,you will be home based. Travel to and from clients is part of the role and you may occasionally have to stay away from home.

Our client base is a mixture of small to medium firms of accountants, industry clients and clients within the banking sector.

**Role**

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and delivering Audit and Financial Reporting training materials for courses from introductory level to CPD Updates. Courses run UK-wide and include classroom-based workshops, CPD lectures and webinars.
- Researching emerging technical areas and writing training materials for use by the wider Insight Training team.
- Performing audit file reviews (cold and hot) which are carried out remotely and onsite.
- Answering ad hoc technical queries on auditing and financial reporting (UK GAAP and IFRS).

The role is broad in scope, and you will be fully supported. There are plenty of opportunities to grow and develop within the business in various areas, depending on your skill set and areas of interest. These might include developing a technical specialismor broader facilitation and coaching skills.

**The Successful Applicant
**The successful applicant will be a confident, enthusiastic self-motivated individual with the experience and desire to play an important role in a small and growing business. You will:

- Be ACA/ACCA qualified with some training experience
- Be imaginative and pro-active in your approach to developing training courses
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be very well organised and experienced in managing your own work schedule
- Enjoy creativity and be willing and confident to share your ideas
- Have previous experience of working on external audits that you can refer to when delivering training
- Have good technical knowledge of Auditing and Financial Reporting standards
- Have the confidence and professionalism to establish credibility with delegates

You will require a high level of autonomy and self-motivation and be willing to travel to our clients. You will be in regular contact with the Directors and the rest of the team on a day-to-day basis. You will work either four or five days per week, workingeither out at clients or from home.

A current UK driving licence is essential, and car advantageous, for the role as is the ability to work flexibly.
