**Primary Responsibilities**
- Delivery of laser manufacturing core skills training to new hires where appropriate.
- Facilitation of product refresher training.
- Supporting and providing sub assembly training.
- Maintenance of skills matrix and documentation.
- Facilitate additional training as required.
- New Product Transfer support (skills transfer).
- Skills audits support.

**General Tasks**
- Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
- Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.

**Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies**
- Science or Engineering qualification (BTEC or higher).
- Previous experience within a similar role.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Understanding of laser products.
- Train the trainer (training can be provided).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand to eye co-ordination.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Electronics skills.
- Optics knowledge.
- Good organizational skills.
- Initiative and ability to think on feet.
- Good problem-solving skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £27,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus scheme
