Credit Administrator

**Core Duties**:
- Assist with the preparation of facility letters and other Loan/Security documentation e.g. legal charges, personal guarantees, assignment of rental income, charge over deposit, etc.
- Ensure that documentation is in compliance with credit approvals and in line with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
- Obtain quotes from Surveyors & Solicitors in relation to approved transactions and liaise with internal stakeholders for the quotes to be agreed prior to instructing the relevant party. Thereafter appoint/instruct surveyors and solicitors.
- Liaise with solicitors to ensure the conveyance is completed in timely manner and that the underlying Security is acceptable from the Banks perspective.
- Diarise any conditions subsequent and ensure these are completed on or by the due date(s)
- safe custody of legal documentation and maintenance of Security Register
- Ensure all transaction documents are uploaded to Datastore.
- Inputting limits on Equation as requested by Credit Risk
- Manage administrative responsibilities for the department.
**Key Skills & Requirements**
- Knowledge of Equation (loan system)
- Assist with preparing facility letters and associated documents particularly in relation to regulated and non-regulated mortgage transactions (including Islamic Diminishing Musharaka Home Purchase Plans & Buy to Let Property Purchase Plans) as well as capableof reviewing syndicated credit agreements,
- Knowledge of Islamic finance - particularly regulated Islamic financing e.g. Diminishing Musharaka Home Purchase Plans & Islamic Buy to Let Home Purchase Plans)
- Knowledge of regulated conventional Mortgage loans & non-regulated Buy to Let Mortgage Loans both to individuals and Corporates.
- Knowledge of Syndicated transactions
- Project Management Skills
- Understanding of Industry practice and proportional risk management approaches
- Proven competency of working within a Financial Services environment, ideally within an Operations/Credit Administration team
- Loans administration experience (including in Islamic financing would be helpful)
- Attention to detail.
- High levels of drive and motivation.
- Ability to communicate proactively and present effectively within a fast-paced professional business environment (both written and oral)
- Ability to operate in a pressurised team, influencing & managing multiple deadlines with key stakeholders.
