Job description

24-7 Language Services Ltd is a national interpreting and translations agency providing interpreting and translation services to solicitors and other companies across the UK.

Our clients require our interpreters to speak a broad range of languages and attend bookings in various locations around the country and our translators carry out written translations in different languages and timescales.

We are currently looking for a new Translations and Bookings Coordinator to manage the translations aspect of our business. The role would involve liaising with clients about their translation requirements and providing quotations. Once quotations are acceptedyou would work with our freelance translators to ensure the documents are translated, deadlines are met and the client receives a seamless service.

We are a busy and friendly team operating out of an office in North west London and this is an opportunity for an individual who is looking for a challenge in a lively environment.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Managing the full lifecycle of written translations. Providing quotes to clients, liaising with translators to ensure that timescales and client expectations are met. Checking translated documents, signing off on completed translations and invoicing theclient once a translation is completed.
- Assisting the bookings team with bookings. Calling and liaising with clients and interpreters to ensure that all booking requests are fulfilled in expected deadlines
- Answering general enquiries over the telephone.
- Ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Providing assistance with general administration work

**Skills and experience required**
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and within specific timescales
- High level of IT literacy and use of Excel
- Good numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Confident telephone manner
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent team work skills and a proactive approach
