**About the Role**

The Senior Quality Supervisor will be part of an independent team responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and regulatory compliance across all aspects of the operations team. The Quality assurance team will engage with but will be independent of all key stakeholders (Internal departments and Build partners). You will play a vital role in maintaining the company’s commitment to delivering reliable end to end exceptional fibre broadband and Gigabit Wireless services for our customers, investors and stakeholders while adhering to relevant industry regulations. Through transparency and accountability, you will build effective relationships based on trust and mutual respect.

**What you will be responsible for**
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate and implement quality management processes, procedures, and policies to ensure the network’s performance and reliability meet or exceed industry standards in the Northern and or Southern part of the UK.
- Conduct regular audits of project sites, cabling installations, civil works, and documentation to identify areas for improvement and adherence to specifications.
- Implement comprehensive quality control plans and inspection procedures, resulting in improved product quality and a reduction in defects.
- Resource Management: Lead external 3rd party vendors to optimise performance, efficiency, and quality outcomes.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and address any network quality issues promptly, working collaboratively with various teams to implement effective solutions.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to internal and external teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present comprehensive reports on build quality metrics (KPIs), compliance status, and improvement initiatives to stakeholders and management.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architecture, network operations centre, Fibre build delivery, Transformation and change (PMO, PM) and installation teams, to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with quality requirements.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings, contributing to continuous improvement and enhanced project outcomes.

**What we are looking for**
- Have a strong technical background in fibre optics (Civils and cabling architecture familiarity).
- A good understanding of Gigabit Wireless Access.
- Have quality auditing experience and have been involved in the intricacies of network deployment.
- Be familiar with CDM working practices and regulations.
- Have a good understanding of HSEQ requirements and working practices.
- Must have a very good understanding of Openreach PIA standards and process.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with teams of engineers, designers, and construction workers, as well as third-party partners.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to build strong relationships with all build partners and their sub contractors.
- Be comfortable using standard Microsoft software products including Visio and Project, ARC GIS and or QGIS and any other design software tool.
