**Main Tasks**

**Support**
- As required, provide timely communication to users on the status of their service requests and incidents.
- Prioritise and schedule assigned support activities and tasks.

**Senior Responsibilities**
- Help to provide training and support to the Application Support Analysts.
- Help to prioritise the workload of the team.
- Cover for the Business Systems Manager when they are on leave.
- Engage and support with onboarding systems in to the business systems team.
- Auditing access to systems and working with Audit departments to review access
- Engage in Change control process for system changes
- Be a point of escalation for system outages engaging with suppliers to get issues resolved in a timely manor
- Carry out Patch management and server upgrades where required while keeping disruption limited
- Help to provide training and support to the Digital Services Staff where required.

**General**
- Understand and comply with the organisation requirements, processes, procedures and policies.
- Share knowledge and expertise with others, coaching and supporting team members as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your line manager.
- Undertake knowledge management activities: identifying, controlling and storing any pertinent information, and maintaining knowledge items to ensure that they are current, relevant and valid.
