**Job Description Summary**: As a Digital Marketing Apprentice for the Surgery segment, you will have the opportunity to develop your digital marketing skills while contributing to enhancing digital marketing strategies and initiatives for the Surgery. This role is for an initial 12 month period and there is potential for a full time opportunity afterwards.

You will gain hands-on experience in digital marketing by assisting with campaign planning, learning how to use data to improve strategies, and collaborating with teams to ensure the success of digital initiatives. You will also play a role in improving the digital maturity of the Surgery segment by supporting best practices sharing and helping to embed digital marketing as a key driver of business impact.
In addition, you will contribute to improving lead and funnel management for the Surgery segment. By supporting the development of strategies to optimize lead qualification, nurturing, and tracking, you will help ensure that high-quality leads are effectively brought into the funnel and advanced through the buyer journey.
Through this role, you will build expertise in multi-channel digital marketing, customer journey alignment, and audience targeting, while learning to integrate innovative tools and techniques to deliver value for the business.
The role will be part of the Central Digital Marketing Organization International and report to the Omnichannel Program Leader.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Campaign Strategy**:
- Assist in translating business objectives into digital marketing strategies for the Surgery segment.
- Support local markets by aligning their marketing plans with digital strategies and helping select the most effective channel mix.
**Multi-Channel Strategy**:
**Customer Journey Alignment**:
- Support aligning digital strategies with the customer journey by ensuring campaigns reach the right audiences at the right time in their decision-making process.
**Lead and Funnel Management**:
- Assist in developing processes to improve lead qualification and nurturing, ensuring leads are effectively moved through the funnel.
- Collaborate with teams to track lead performance, analyse data, and provide recommendations to optimize lead conversion rates.
**Audience & Personal Development**:
- Work with zone marketing and commercial teams to understand target audiences, develop personas, and learn how to tailor digital campaigns to meet specific needs.
- Assist with implementing tools like machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve customer insights and campaign relevance.
**Digital Education & Capability Building**:
- Support education initiatives aimed at helping local teams improve their digital marketing skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to creating materials and organizing sessions that foster knowledge-sharing and build expertise.
**Collaboration**:
- Work closely with Central and Zone teams to learn how to align strategies with operational processes and performance goals.
- Collaborate with content creators, data analysts, and process leaders to understand how various functions contribute to successful digital campaigns.

- Organized and detail-oriented, with a desire to develop project management skills.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, embracing challenges with a positive, customer-first attitude.
