**STORES SUPERVISOR**

**St Neots**

**Monday
- Friday: 37.5 hours per week**

Are you an experienced Stores Supervisor looking for a new opportunity. As a leading organisation in its industry, we are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team. As a key member of their department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their goods handling and distribution processes. You will report to the Operations Manager on a day to day basis, with one direct report.

**Requirements**:

- Substantial proven experience in a similar role
- Clear knowledge and understanding of operational procedures and health & safety policies.
- Experience in setting up stock locations within the stores environment
- Thorough knowledge of relevant work practises and procedures
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, along with good IT skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data input
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to use initiative to solve problems.
- Previous experience in a busy environment
- Familiarity with handling specialised equipment
- Proven customer service skills
- Team player mentality

**What you'll do**:

- Maintain a computer stock database facility ensuring traceability of all parts
- Provide a goods packaging and despatch service for all out-going parts
- Ensure the stores are regularly cleaned and kept free from obstruction
- Carry out regular stock checks within Stores including stock reconciliation
- Ensure any part discrepancies or issues are brought to the attention of Management
- Adhere to quality management procedures
- Organise and arrange couriers for special deliveries
- Package items safely and securely and despatch to suppliers/repairers
- Locate and pick requested items and prepare for shipping
- Maintain control of the waste and recover any reusable equipment
- Monitor and Control all Packaging materials
- Maintain a record of Test and Calibration equipment

Pay: £29,250.00-£31,284.00 per year
