Community Integrated Care is recruiting for an Advanced/ Senior Support Worker, with flexible shift patterns available.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced support worker to step up. You will support adults with learning disabilities and autism_,_ who have complex needs, to lead the best life possible.

**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
The person who we support takes great pride in decorating it to their taste. They require 2:1 support at all times to ensure they live life how they see fit, whilst remaining safe. They have a learning disability and attachment disorder.
- The staff are highly trained to give them skills and knowledge and support the best possible way.
There are lots of shops and pubs in the area. They have easy access to Bournemouth centre and a regular bus service that can take them to Bournemouth and from where They live. It is their first home. They can get to any of my favourite activities very easily.
Other information
They have 2 staff on shift at all times. Staff work from 07:00 - 22:00. They have a waking night staff member every night from 22:00 - 07:00. They have a sleep in member of staff from Sunday night to Thursday night from 22:00 - 07:00. They have 2 waking night staff on Friday and Saturday nights so that they can go out to Bournemouth’s night clubs.

If you do not have a qualification, you will need to have experience in social care.
You will know how to connect with people and be passionate about supporting people to live independently. You will also be a brilliant mentor and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues.
We will develop your talents with a range of specialist training, including the opportunity to learn Positive Behaviour Support methods, Makaton and the Picture Exchange System.
During recruitment you will meet the people we support in their home. This will allow you to see their wonderful personalities first-hand and fully understand the level of support that they require.
