Waitress and Barista

**Job Overview**
As a Barista, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional guest services. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that their needs are met promptly and efficiently. This position requires a passion for hospitality and culinary arts, as well as a commitment to food safety and quality standards.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Engage with customers to provide outstanding guest services, taking orders and answering any questions about the menu.
- Taking orders at till
- Washing up dishes
- Upsell additional products such as pastries or snacks to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring that all items meet quality standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced till.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Continuously improve knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and menu offerings.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and beverage crafting.
