**CNC Programmer Responsibilities**:

- CNC Programming/ CADs using Siemens NX Unigraphics Version 12
- Produce 3 and 5 axis CNC programs and set up CNC Milling machines with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures
- Carry out the measurement and inspection of components
- Manufacture Jigs and Fixtures to enable development of first time run/components
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement initiatives by improving efficiency wherever possible
**CNC Programmer Requirements**:

- Previous experience of working to Aerospace standards
- Preferably 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Previous experience required in NX Unigraphics version 12 or similar 3D CAD/ CAM design
- Previous experience in both Milling and Turning, although a bias towards Milling is preferential
- Previous experience in Heidenhain conversational programming
- Must have a keen eye for detail
- Must have the capability and experience to adopt a hands-on approach with both machine and team interaction
- Capable of converting drawings/models into development and production running parts
- An understanding and alignment to our Bromford values; Respect, Integrity, Safety and Excellence
- Is self-driven with a positive outlook
**Shift Pattern**: Day Shift, 07h00 to 16h00 or 08h00 to 17h00 Monday to Thursday, and 07h00 to 12h00 on Fridays, with designated breaks
**Location**: Bromford Derby - DE21 7RX
**Contract type**: Full time, Permanent
