**Role Responsibilities**:
As a **Security Officer**, reporting to our Operations team, you will:
**Vehicle and Delivery Management**:

- Accurately record details for delivery lorries, including the driver’s surname, vehicle registration, haulage company, supplier, and reference number.
- Assign vehicles to appropriate bays using radio communication.
- Book in contractors and company vehicles, ensuring contractors are pre-authorized and trailers are empty before leaving for MOTs, servicing, or repairs.
- Maintain precise logs, which serve as legal records, and escalate unauthorized entries.

**Warehouse Security Duties**:

- Conduct regular patrols in the warehouse and Mezzanine areas, ensuring secure environments.
- Perform checks in key areas, including drawers, secure cages, and chocolate aisles.
- Remove opened goods and place covert cameras nearby to prevent theft.

**Staff and Vehicle Searches**:

- Perform regular staff searches, including using a wand for metal detection and random shoe removal when required.
- Conduct random searches across warehouse areas and the staff car park.

**General Security Duties**:

- Maintain a strong security presence to deter unauthorized activities.
- Monitor and log all vehicles entering and exiting the site.
- Communicate clearly and effectively via radio to coordinate security activities.

**Position Details**:

- **Location**: Lutterworth (must be able to commute reliably) and the local area.
- **Salary**: £12.12 per hour (employed basis).
- **Shifts**: 12-hour shifts (day and night shifts available) on a rota basis.
- **Job Type**: Permanent

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Smart, professional appearance (uniform provided).
- Punctuality and reliability in booking shifts through the company portal.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent radio communication skills.
- A valid Frontline SIA License and a full, checkable 5-year history for vetting (in line with BS7858 standards).
