Marmalade Trust is the UK’s leading loneliness charity. We raise awareness of loneliness, reduce stigma, and support people to build meaningful social connections. Our flagship projects include global Loneliness Awareness Week (LAW), Marmalade Connections, and Christmas Cheer.

**The Role**

We’re seeking a creative and proactive Marcoms Executive to take the lead on Marmalade Trust’s marketing and communications activity. This is a hands-on role where you’ll shape our marketing strategy, create engaging content, and help tell the Marmalade story in ways that inspire people to connect, support, and take action.

**What You’ll Do**
- **Lead our marketing & comms strategy** - plan, deliver, monitor, and adapt campaigns to grow reach and engagement.
- **Create content that connects** - from blogs and newsletters to social posts, video reels, and live event coverage.
- **Be our digital storyteller** - grow our presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, and more.
- **Manage campaigns & media** - support flagship projects like Loneliness Awareness Week, Christmas Cheer, and Marmalade Connections.
- **Design, capture & share** - use Canva (and your creative flair) to design assets, edit videos, and showcase stories from our projects.
- **Keep our website fresh** - upload blogs, optimise for SEO, and ensure it’s accessible and up to date.
- **Grow our community** - create engaging newsletters, work with influencers, and build partnerships that amplify our voice.

**About You**

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in a similar marketing role (charity/non-profit experience a bonus).
- A confident content creator across digital, social, and print.
- Skilled in Canva (or similar tools), social analytics, and CMS
- Creative, organised, and proactive - equally happy planning strategy or capturing content on the ground.
- A natural communicator with strong writing and design skills.
- Excited to work in a small, passionate team where you can make a big impact.

Desirable extras: video editing, photography, influencer engagement, or a formal marketing qualification.
