**About The Role**:
Newly created position to join our HR team based in Birmingham City Centre. This is a fast-paced role where you will specialise in ensuring the employee payroll is compliant and provide guidance to employees. This is a pivotal and exciting role where you will join a growing business who are constantly striving to improve processes and employee service levels.
**Responsibilities**:
- Process payroll and pension for employees accurately and on time, utilising payroll software systems.
- Maintain payroll and pension records and ensure data integrity by accurately entering employee information, hours worked, deductions, and other relevant details.
- Calculate wages, overtime, and other compensation accurately based on timekeeping records and company policies.
- Review time sheets and attendance records for accuracy and completeness.
- Address employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and deductions promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with government payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as required.
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data and resolve discrepancies.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and industry best practices.
- Process and check employee's expenses, mileage and other travel-related and allowance type claims. They will deal with queries and produce relevant reports in a timely and efficient manner when required.

- Minimum 2 years experience processing in-house payroll.- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
