**Trainee Accountant**

**Main Duties & Objectives**

As a **Trainee Accountant**, you will be completing assignments supporting the team in effective delivery of accurate products and services provided to clients. Your responsibilities will be varied, covering all areas of practice accounting.

Your duties will include but will not be limited to;
- Assistance with the preparation of statutory accounts, working papers and related corporation Tax computations.
- General bookkeeping and VAT Return preparation using cloud based software.
- Assistance with the preparation and presentation of Management Reports.
- Preparation and submission of Construction Industry Scheme returns to HMRC and preparation of Sub contractor monthly statements.
- Communicating with clients on a frequent basis

You will be working alongside experienced team members who will help you build your knowledge and work towards your career goals.

You will be responsible for the following:

- Meeting agreed commitments and deadlines.
- Making sure work is accurate and avoid mistakes.
- Assist other where needed
- Work autonomously and be capable of dealing with responsibility.
- Provide frequent updates on work for clarity
- Recognise urgent deliverables and pitch in to help the team when needed during peak workloads.
- Try to resolve queries and problems ahead of seeking additional support.
- Embrace the use of technology to work more efficiently.
- Consistently deliver quality work to keep clients happy.
- Progress towards professional qualifications.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship
