Position: Satellite Senior Presentations Operator

Purpose of role

The role requires the individual to work as a Satellite Operator working closely with clients to produce outstanding presentations materials. You will be expected to advise the client and implement the best solutions to their visual communication needs. You will have a creative focus, not afraid to question traditional approaches and be driven to produce high-quality innovative ideas and concepts within brand guidelines, driving quality and creativity.

You will liaise with bankers in a professional, consultative and helpful manner at all times. Own and take responsibility for the work, in terms of the final product, e.g. consistency, creativity, deadline management, accuracy and quality in accordance with the Bank template and corporate guidelines. Take responsibility for the management of Client requests, within time and quality parameters, handling customer queries relating to these documents.

Understanding dedicated department’s business objectives in order to identify opportunities, strong emphasis will be on up-selling the wider team’s capabilities to your core service users. Working in collaboration with stakeholders from the wider teams to produce outstanding work that exceeds client expectations. For this reason, a solid understanding of Presentations, Creative and Print knowledge is highly preferable and utilising downtime to develop in these areas for a greater level of consultation with your clients.

To manage the workflow, accurately recording information, pre-flighting work requests in a consultative manner and providing the best solutions for the client and Williams Lea. Managing deadlines and Client expectations and liaising with central workflow and Creative Services team.

The individual will be passionate about exceeding client’s expectations. They will spend time collaborating with the Lead designer and Senior Operators to ensure self-development is ongoing.

The individual will work closely with the Shift Manager ensuring all SLA’s and KPI’s are on target and having regular meetings to discuss projects and progress

Key responsibilities

To produce aesthetically pleasing presentation materials within Bank’s branding guidelines

To complete amendments to and create documents as requested by clients using the Bank’s template

To drive creativity within the work produced being innovative and providing dynamic solutions and

Attending to Client Technical queries

Point of contact for Client to discuss on-the-job improvement opportunities

To take ownership for the quality of your work and the associated deadlines

To use docBANK/Symphony for job related duties accurately and effectively

To accurately estimate the production time to ensure deadline adherence

Taking a pro-active approach to attendance and time management

Ensuring adherence of objectives and contractual obligations (Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators)

To act in a professional and consultative manner to all clients

General tasks

Manage submission of work from clients ensuring all relevant information is captured and submitted for each request

Being Consultative and offering solutions treating each submission as unique

To act as a key client point of contact

Estimating production times through a thorough pre-flight, agreeing deadlines and overall Symphony and workflow management

Accurate and timely production of all materials

Attending to Client Technical queries

Ensure all work is quality checked before being returned to the client

Ensure complete submission of work to be randomly quality checked

Adherence of Williams Lea and Client policies and procedures

Reporting of any issues to relevant parties

Personal attributes

Formally design trained with a relevant qualification in graphic design or equivalent professional experience

Expert level Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe lllustrator

Natural leader and training abilities, ability to communicate thought processes related to design

Experience of working in a corporate culture

Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure

Must be able to work on their own initiative

Calm and mature personality with the ability to work in a team or autonomously, in a pressured environment
