**Job Overview**

The role includes shunting, several overnight short runs to nearby locations and the ability to make decisions through an organisationed mind.

Applicants must hold a full clean C+E driving licence, in date Driver Qualification Card (CPC) and tachograph card.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate transportation activities to ensure timely and safe delivery of products.
- Collaborate with drivers and warehouse personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including schedules, routes, and expenses.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to address any logístical challenges or issues.
- **Skills**:

- HGV Class 1 qualifications
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication.
- Strong leadership abilities to manage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of logistics operations.
- Competence in using Microsoft Word and other office software.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Capability to communicate clearly with various stakeholders within the organisation.This position is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our transportation services, ensuring that we meet our customers' needs while adhering to industry standards.

Working hours are Mon-Friday 5pm start through to 5am other than a midnight finish on Friday. A agreement to be put in place to confirm working hours.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
