Healthcare Assistants play a vital role in the care of residents. Working under the direction of more senior healthcare professionals, they take care of the day-to-day needs of patients by providing help with range of tasks which include but are not limited to personal care, meals and mobility. They may also carry out a range of housekeeping duties, as well as performing basic medical checks, such as taking a resident's temperature, pulse and respiration rate.

Key duties for this role:

- Understand and work within the structure and ethos of SRP Healthcare.
- To work in line with the SRP Healthcare’s mission, vision, values.
- Develop effective professional working relationships with establishment staffing.
- To maintain Care skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain practices as up-to-date.
- Work flexibly where required to meet the needs of the customer whilst ensuring safe reporting of any requests or changes to provision.
- Work in cooperation with members of multi-disciplinary health teams as directed or required.
- Ensure that customers are protected and that dignity is maintained at all times.

**Essential Skills**
- A minimum 3 months UK experience.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have the ability to adapt to different healthcare environments.
- Works well in stressful situations and able to respond effectively to challenging situations.
- Respects people's equality, diversity and rights.
- As of 11th November 2021, all staff must be double vaccinated or medically exempt.
