To work alongside other members of staff to successfully run the Well Bean Café and ensure customers’ expectation of food, beverage and customer service are met. This may include any aspect of café operation including equipment, facilities, health & safety, customer care and administration. You will be required to work in Meadowfield Cafe.

Take individual responsibility for duties associated with Well Bean Cafe plus other functions agreed with Catering Manager. Work closely with Facilities, clinical, catering and administration colleagues, clients, service users, PCT’s and support groups to ensure an integrated approach to achieving an effective service of the highest standards.
- To work in Well Bean café at Meadowfield Hospital
- To set and maintain the highest standards of customer service at all times
- To take responsibility for the presentation of the food on the counters & in the fridges offered for sale and completion of admin duties
- To be responsible for the monitoring and control of stock and wastage by undertaking stock takes at regular intervals

Abide by the standards of behaviour expected by their professional body and the standards of behaviour expected of all staff in the Trust disciplinary policy and procedure.
Adhere to all Trust policies and procedures and are responsible for making themselves aware of these policies and procedures.
Treat information relating to patient, employees and businesses of the Trust in the strictest confidence. Under no circumstances should such information be discussed with any unauthorised person(s) or organisations. At all times employees are required to comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act.
Maintain their own awareness of, and comply with, policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety (whether statutory or Trust), and assist in ensuring the compliance of other staff.
Support the Trust’s visions and values and in particular the promotion of a positive approach to diversity, equality, rights, and treating others with dignity and respect.

We are looking for committed individual to work in a very important role as part of the facilities team in our Meadowfield Hospital coffee shop for 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday. 07.00 - 15.00.

You should have good communication skills, a flexible attitude, be able to work as part of a team.
