Financial Controller Part Time

Our client is a growing e-commerce lifestyle business based in the heart of Dorset. They are looking for a capable Financial Controller to join their friendly and capable team and help them achieve the growth. Initially this would be on a part time basiswith the potential to move to full time.
Reporting to the Directors, you would manage a small team, but have responsibility for:
ensure all accounting records are maintained accurately
provide monthly management accounts and commentary
prepare monthly rolling forecasts
monitoring expenditure
year end statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors
special projects e.g. developing processes and procedures, implementing ERP system
liaising with external bodies e.g. auditors, banks, solicitors
You will ideally be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or similar) with good knowledge of UK GAAP, experience of staff management and ideally of working within a wholesale/retail business. Experience of management accounting, analysing information, all financial compliance(VAT, year end, payroll) and process/system improvements would also be needed and knowledge of stock, cost accounting and foreign currency would also be a big plus.
