It operates the National Gambling Helpline, delivers free treatment services across multiple regions in Great Britain, and raises awareness about gambling harms through a variety of prevention-based programmes.
**The Role**
This is an exciting opportunity to join GamCare as we're recruiting maternity cover as an interim Head of Media and Campaigns to lead the initial work on our integrated marketing, communications and brand strategy. This role will work with us to strengthen GamCare's position as the UK's leading provider of gambling harm support and treatment through the development of sophisticated marcomms and brand initiatives that enhance GamCare’s reputation, drive service awareness, and help more people access the support they need.
The role will be instrumental in shaping GamCare's brand architecture and marketing effectiveness over the next six months, while maintaining our strong media presence. Working closely with GamCare’s Clinical Operations team, you will start the work to lead the development of integrated marketing campaigns that directly support our treatment services and Helpline. As a member of the Operational Leadership Team, you will drive strategic marketing decisions that deliver measurable outcomes and value for money across our services.
**About You**
**Maternity Cover Key Responsibilities**
- Initiate the work to lead and implement GamCare's integrated marcomms and brand strategy, ensuring alignment with clinical service delivery objectives
- Continue the work on a comprehensive brand review and refresh, with particular focus on increasing awareness of the National Gambling Helpline and treatment services
- Develop and start the implementation of advanced marketing effectiveness frameworks encompassing media strategy, brand tracking, and marketing mix modelling
- Create and deliver measurable media relations initiatives enhancing GamCare's profile as a trusted provider
- Champion marketing excellence across GamCare's strategic initiatives through sophisticated audience targeting and channel optimisation
- Build and maintain relationships with key journalists and media outlets to position GamCare as go-to experts on gambling harm
