**About the role**:
As the**Network Specialist** you will drive the technical execution of key strategic and tactical projects, advancing the development of Just Groups networks toward next-generation capabilities. This is a highly-visible role within Just GroupsInfrastructure Network Services team - the organization that is chartered to architect, plan, engineer, and operate Just Groups networks (wide-area networks, data center networks, corporate networks), supporting Just Groups business and users.

You will have an excellent technical knowledge of WAN and LAN and Cloud based networking, as well as excellent communication skills to document the solution and provide knowledge transfer to other team members.

You will take responsibility and ownership of customer incidents and requests keeping tickets updated in line with SLA and quality standards while working as a team with the engineers and working alongside other teams.

You will be flexible to travel to Just locations if activities require.

**Accountabilities**:

- Pro-actively identify, diagnose and resolve information and security issues while at all times adhering to Just groups policies and processes
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the networking function in a 'cloud first' direction
- Collaborate closely with network architecture, planning, engineering & operations teams to develop road maps and time-bound, metrics-driven execution plans and milestones.
- Collaborate with high-performing network architects and engineers, providing technical oversight on key network initiatives based on a combination of vendors, custom solutions, and internal resources.
- Build relationships and work with Just Delivery partners and stakeholders within broader internal organizations to promote a unified approach to network transformation and strategic road map.
- Responsible for the technical hands on Build and Configuration elements aligned with all network initiative and day to day activities.
- This role will be required to take part in an 24/7 on call rota

**About you**:
**Qualifications**

CCNP Security
Fortinet NSE 5 Analyst

**Skills and Knowledge**
- Excellent knowledge of routing, switching & firewall
- Knowledge of LAN setup (Meraki experience would be preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, including on the telephone
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products including Windows 10 and Office inc.365
- Experience of working in a Cloud first environment.
- Ability to research and assess new Cyber Security threats as well as recommending and implementing remedial actions
- In depth experience of creating and maintaining access control models, overall networks security and security technologies.
- Identify potential changes and system improvements and drive continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent problem solving abilities
- A commitment to ongoing training
- Works well as part of a team but also excellent at using own initiative
- Excellent customer service skills

**Experience**
- Excellent Fortinet experience, including:

- Setup of NGFW and SD-WAN
- Setup and use of Fortinet software and tools
- Excellent Palo Alto experience
- Project management experience
- Experience of working with mobile devices (Apple and Android)
- Knowledge of SCCM and use of in a Desktop environment
- Knowledge of PowerShell
- Knowledge of ServiceNow (Incident, Request & Problem)
- Good knowledge and previous experience of CRM systems
- Experience of remote worker support (LogMeIn, Remote assistance)
- Previous experience of working in a fast paced customer service environment
