Zenith Global are the central team, primarily based in London, supporting our local Zenith markets, leading new business efforts, developing thought-leadership, and driving network development for our 250 offices across 95 countries with over 8,000 staff worldwide.
We house a large team of multi-faceted communications planners, digital and innovation specialists and client leadership teams. Our global client portfolio comprises a range of category leaders including Reckitt, TikTok, Edrington, Coty, Electrolux and Nestlé.
THE ROLE
This position requires a highly motivated, technical & commercially minded person to drive day to day strategy across two of our Global Clients’ paid search business. This is a critical role in the agency, overseeing strategy, owning the execution and simultaneouslydelivering immaculate client service.
THE ClientS & Team
The client is Wella Co and right now is an exciting time to join the team within Zenith Global. Within the past four months, we have taken on all digital capabilities for Wella Co, and our scope continues to expand. We are in the process of redesigning theoperating model for the client as they are themselves going through business transformation.
We are also a new team that is removing the hierarchical barriers often found in agency life. The slate is clean and we are truly crafting a team we hope will be a destination client within the Zenith Global organisation, known for delivering quality/cutting-edgework, for growing its team members, and for having a strong camaraderie between its team members and our clients. And even in these uncertain times, with a bit of hard work, we are confident we can achieve all of the above
The paid search account manager reports into the paid search director and has three direct line reports; one UK-based account executive and two executives based in our PGD team in Mumbai, India.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop paid search program strategies (e.g. identifying target audience, geographic, timing/scheduling strategy)
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the clients’ products, competition, industry and marketing objectives; and be able to translate them into search strategies.
- Overseeing budgeting process, creation of projections and forecasts.
- Creating playbooks and strategy documentation to assist in explaining our approach.
- Activate in line with strategic documentation.
- Get your hands on the keyword to build, manage and optimise accounts directly.
- Delegate tasks to your 4 person team.
- Oversee and quality assure the team’s deliverables.
- Develop strong client relationships.
- Attend meetings and lead communications with day to day client stakeholders.
- Contribute to client presentations and meetings, including presentation of data and results.
- Manage, train and develop talent.
- Educate your team to enable them to grow and develop both as individuals and as a collective.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses and design personalised training regimes.
- Contribute to recruitment as the team grows.
- Day to day account management tasks:
- Campaign optimisation towards agreed KPI's.
- Ongoing campaign builds to maximise our reach and achieve complete keyword coverage.
- Develop intelligent bid optimisation strategies leaning on automated learning processes where possible.
- Budget management.
- Landing page optimisation advice.
- Testing beta programs on Google/Bing etc.
- Develop and leverage automation to improve operational efficiency.
- Weekly reporting & update calls for all markets.
- Internal & external performance reporting.
- Implement and develop efficient standard processes across the team to streamline tasks.
**Qualifications**
We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Account Manager to lead the tactical day to day of the Paid Search campaigns and ensure the central strategy is aligned to best practice and adhered to. The dynamic and fast-paced nature of Paid Search demandsa mix of creative and analytical skills in order to drive results across our national and global client portfolios.
