**The Role - Senior Digital PR Executive**

UR.co.uk is a market-leading, UK eCommerce business established in 2010 and continuing to grow year after year. We have ambitious growth plans over the next 3 years and are looking for a creative, forward-thinking individual to join a passionate and ambitious team.

After recent success, we are expanding our marketing team. If you have previous experience of delivering nothing short of the best service, then we want to hear from you.

This role involves developing our PR marketing and PR platforms within the mobile telecoms industry and opening up new marketing opportunities.. You’ll be supported during the training process and taught everything you need to know about the industry, and how to succeed.

We’re looking for next-level talent with grit and determination to join us on our journey to becoming No 1 in our sector. So, if you already have experience of developing sales in the mobile phone industry then we want to hear from you

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Monitoring the news agenda and researching different news topics in order to come up with ideas for newsjacking
- Ghostwriting quotes and comments on behalf of the senior leadership team
- Monitoring and replying to media requests
- Drafting press materials and engaging content
- Preparing and researching media lists
- Outreaching content to a wide range of media outlets
- Forming strong relationships with journalists and clients
- Creative ideation to discover new and interesting content angles that excite clients and the press
- With the support of the senior DPR team, you will be responsible for smaller accounts, including the delivery of KPIs and client relationship management
- Working alongside other delivery channels, particularly SEO, Content, Data and Creative

**Key Skills**:

- Desirable - two to three years of working in PR either in-house or in an agency
- You’re well-versed in Digital PR tactics and the modern media landscape
- You understand terms such as organic visibility, reactive newsjacking and proactive/ product PR
- You are familiar with SEO
- You have a keen interest in current affairs, breaking news and trends cycles
- You have a creative flair and enjoy out-of-the-box thinking
- You have very strong written and communication skills
- You have examples of securing notable press placements
- You are confident in spotting a good news angle or story and presenting this back to the team
- You are comfortable leading internal meetings
- Not essential, but a plus is you have experience working with influencers
- An organised and positive person who is willing to learn and is open to new ideas and ways of working
- Someone who wants to contribute effectively and work as part of the team
- Someone who is open to training and development, who wants to grow with us as we build the department
