We are currently looking for a Network Engineer to join our talented team on a full-time, permanent basis, working from our office in Derby two days per week and three days from home.

**The Role**
As a Network Engineer, you will provide day-to-day support to our clients’ networks and IT infrastructure, as well as supporting our internal infrastructure.
Recording and processing tickets, you will monitor and manage events generated by our system monitoring software, take remedial actions and escalate events.
You will identify and resolve incidents on customer networks and devices, as well as carry out routine checks of customers’ and internal systems.
Additionally, you will:
- Develop and advance your knowledge of, and skill in, networking and related technologies
- Create and maintain up-to-date documentation
- Update and maintain company and customer assets
**About You**
To be considered as a Network Engineer, you will need:
- Experience working on a technical service desk
- Advanced knowledge of IT and commercial equipment and technologies
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco software and infrastructure
- A keen interest in all things IT related and new technologies
- The ability to undertake fault-handling and manage technical escalations in a timely manner
- A detail-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT fault-finding skills
