**Overview**
We are looking to recruit a fabulous team of proactive, Retail Sales/Style Consultants for our new shoe shop opening in the centre of Chester very soon

The expected start date is late March

21 hour and 16 hour contracts are available. There may also be a 12 hour weekend contract available (Sat/Sun). These are all permanent year round contracts. We are not looking to recruit seasonally at this time

The shop will be open 7 days a week and shifts will be set to cover opening hours

It is expected that successful applicants will have key holder/shared keyholder responsibilities to cover the opening hours

**Duties** (not definitive)

There are many hats to be worn as part of the role and our expectation is that our fabulous team members will (not definitive):

- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, greeting customers warmly and confidently engaging with customers on the shop floor
- Help customers with their purchasing decisions and engage in upselling where appropriate to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain an organised, fresh and visually appealing sales floor/shop window, ensuring products are well-displayed
- Process/dispatch online orders accurately
- Manage stock accurately, including ordering/receiving in stock, stock counts, stock rotation
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of customer service
- Stay informed about product features, promotions, and store policies to provide knowledgeable assistance to customers
- Efficiently carry out shop opening and closing procedures

- Experience in retail sales

- Proactive. Always takes the initiative - reaches out to customers first

- Customer focused. Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills
- Enthusiastic. Has a positive energy that inspires action in others
- Dependable and trustworthy. Can be relied up to turn up for shifts, act as keyholder, handle cash, for example
- Adaptable and flexible. Able to cover colleagues holidays/sickness for example
- Confident/savvy in the use of technology
- Excellent organisational skills
