**Regional role covering Wales and the West**

**Hybrid, on average 2 days per week travelling with some flexibility required.**

Although we do require someone that is ideally CIPD trained, a positive attitude and a commitment to your learning and proven experience in a commercial L&D role are most important. We are looking for a collaborative and self-motivated L&D Advisor, reportingto an HR Business Partner and forming part of a network of L&D professionals across our national Jewson network. It would be great if you have a background in our sector but if you haven't worked in this industry, that's okay, we will support your learningto help you develop with us.

**What is the core purpose of the role?**

This position will see you supporting the Wales and West region of our leading brand, Jewson. A large region covering all of Wales and a large patch in the west of England, from Oxford up to Blackpool. You will partner with Regional Directors, Managers,and a network of colleagues in HR and L&D in the assessment of current training needs across the region and the design, delivery, and post delivery assessment of training content across your region. You will support ongoing new colleague inductions while asa team developing specific training content to be delivered in virtual workshops or on site classroom environments, ensuring all learning styles are accommodated.

This is a great opportunity to support the ongoing development of colleague skills across an iconic national brand while developing your own career in L&D. The position would suit individuals that are able to demonstrate the assessment, design, and deliveryof training and in large multi site organisation in industries such as retail, leisure of similar although all experienced L&D Advisors are encouraged to apply. CIPD and formal teaching or training qualifications would be an advantage in the role.
