As International Account Manager you will have overall responsibility for the commercial performance of our customers. The role is primarily focused on well-established customers, but also includes some both lapsed and newer organisations. **The Principal Accountabilities will include**: - Responsible for the profit target for their allocated customers. - Develop and maintain respectful, trusted, long-term relationships with clients through an account management approach, providing prompt support, solving problems and gathering market intelligence. - Identify your self-development needs and discuss progress weekly and monthly with Head of Sales together creating your personal performance program alongside performance appraisals. - Create and close opportunities. Explore and identify new opportunities with customers including but not limited to upselling and cross-selling. - Prioritise sales activity as per customer business opportunity in your sales plan. - Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in line with the company strategy. - Monitor client sales performance against targets and historical sales and adapt sales strategy accordingly. Forecast upcoming sales on a monthly basis. - Respond to RFQs within client deadlines and/or our performance values. Accurately provide comprehensive information to ensure the customer has all relevant information to make a decision. Gauge pricing based on your competitive knowledge and feedback. - Gain the agreement to regularly and frequently follow-up enquiries, quotes, orders, back-orders and other relevant commercial activities with customer and the internal stakeholders. - Manage projects with clients, create innovative ways of collaborating to maximise sales and becoming the preferred supplier. - Conduct quarterly business reviews with clients over video conference and when required face to face. - Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with wider team members (including but not limited to Customer Services, Regulatory, Warehouse, Finance and Procurement) to ensure the smooth progress of sales transactions. - Cover for colleagues as Sales 'Deputy’ during their absences. Prepare enquiries and quotes and follow-up back orders on their behalf. - Travel globally as required to visit clients and to pharmaceutical exhibitions. (Travel no more than 10% of time) - Ensure compliance with GDP and with internal SOPs - Update promptly customer profiles with relevant commercial data as soon as additional information is received. - Follow and recommend improvements to processes to generate efficiencies - Embrace and follow the company CARE Values **Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Habits** **Minimum** - Graduate level - Demonstrate 3 years of successful account management experience. - Demonstrate 2 years export/International sales experience - Experience of working in healthcare - Open to learning and developing new skills and experiences as part of your personal self-development goals. **Beneficial** - Healthcare industry experience, - Wholesale experience - Can show profitability gains in previous roles - Commitment to high appreciation of customer experience - Pro-active and positive - Warm interpersonal skills appreciated by others and of influence - Great attention to detail avoiding disappointments - Able to prioritize, and manage workload effectively - Calm under pressure, collaborating as a "Team" not hide in a "Silo" - Comfortable with Microsoft Excel & Word, CRMs and ERPs. - Flexible and adaptive to the changing requirements of the business **Languages** - Beneficial: Any of these languages: English with Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic
