Vets Now is the UK’s leading provider of Emergency and Out of Hours Care for pets. We operate from 58 clinics across the UK covering the Out of Hours care for over 1200 veterinary practices. We also have a Specialist Emergency and Referral Service that operates out of two Hospitals; Glasgow and Manchester and an Exotics Clinic in Swindon.

Reporting into the Regional Business Relations Manager, you will have responsibility for supporting the Business Relations Managers in the North by taking responsibility for the administrative tasks and queries from their Partner Practices, arranging their Practice visits, and generally assisting the team where they need support.

Key Responsibilities
- Monthly check of targeted PP websites and phones to ensure they have the correct Out Of Hours details for Vets Now (phone calls would need to be done Out of Hours).
- Follow up with PPs when we have asked for information that is outstanding (eg - contracts, bank holiday information, further information regarding a complaint) o Arranging visits or video meetings with their Partner Practices.
- Prepare the Customer Managers for their visits by completing PP check-lists and providing data and information so they are fully briefed ahead of their visit
- Being desk-based support for the Customer Manager whilst they are on their visits
- Ensure that all visit notes are written and added to our Customer Management System
- Checking prices of the competition who offer OOH
- Updating Hive the Practice Management System and uploading the PP contracts.
- Ensuring the disaster contingency plans for each clinic are kept up to date, including for clinic closures and diverts.

Skills and experience:

- Superb organisation skills with the ability to organise not only themselves, but other people
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage their own time and colleague’s time
- Be computer literate with excellent knowledge and experience of:
Excel, including the ability to do formulas using sum, sumif, VLookups and Pivot tables.

Power-point, Word and other Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to use initiative

- Be happy to travel on occasion with overnight stays to support a relocation or new clinic, attend team meetings which happen 2-3 times a year and to attend Vets Now’s annual congress
- Live within 60 mins drive of one of our Vets Now clinics.
