You'll be working for **Celotex in Eggborough**.

**_This is a new state of the art manufacturing facility, that opened in 2017. We see this as a fantastic opportunity to join at a pivotal time in the evolution of the site, and you'll have chance to influence and help mould that evolution overthe coming years._**

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, with good awareness of the safety implications working in a factory
- An understanding and ability to carry out general maintenance such as plumbing, joinery, and minor repair works, including Capex and project works
- Experience supervising and interacting with contractors, through issuing permits to work and monitoring compliance to the site safety and quality standards
- An IOSH qualification would be desirable, but not necessary
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to take the initiative

**What will I be doing in the role?**

The role will involve being able to respond to day to day issues relating to site facilities, such as plumbing, joinery, and minor repair works, including Capex and project works. In this role, you will;
- Complete site statutory checks, including; site fire alarm system, sprinkler pump system, fire doors, ladder inspections, walk way and road way, temperature and facilities inspections
- Work alongside the Engineering Manager and Compliance Engineer to ensure Engineering Statutory and Mandatory requirements are met, and where this is not the case, propose plans to ensure compliance is achieved in a reasonable time-scale
- Maintain the upkeep of all aspects of the factory's facilities
- Assist, when required in company audits and ensure the Engineering department comply with any recommendations
- Control contractors on site by utilising the Permit-to-work scheme, site inductions and monitoring / auditing works as it commences. To ensure a high standard of safety is upheld though out
- Be primary contact on site for Visitors and Contractors and assist with directing them to the relevant responsible person
- Review contractors RAMS before work commences to ensure site safety procedures are upheld
