**About the role**:
As our **Operations Manager, **you will manage the operations for the Distribution Centre: manage people and development, develop and implement year plan and practices, and contribute to the development of the department. Management in linewith corporate guidelines and (business) plans, in order to ensure the realisation of objectives of the DC. You will manage all DC operational requirements on a daily basis and be responsible for setting and executing the Budget whilst delivering against OTACrequirements.

**Your responsibilities as our Operations Manager will include**:

- Ensuring the effective leadership of Team Leaders and associates
- Delivering against all cost, quality and efficiency requirements
- Developing, managing and ensuring realisation year plan/budget for the assigned unit and acquiring approval
- Directing and driving the realisation of planned results and of departmental contributions to cross-sector projects, monitoring and deciding on the allocation of finances to remain within budget restrictions
- Evaluating organisational design, (work) processes and systems and initiating and implementing changes and improvements
- Attracting, leading, coaching, appraising and developing (the cooperation between) employees, ensuring staffing and increasing enablement
- Keeping up with internal and external developments and ensuring development, transfer and retention of knowledge and information
- Providing insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses
- Building and maintaining a network of internal and external stakeholders/partners and representing the organisation
- Coordinating and ensuring the execution of the annual plan
- Identifying shortcomings in current methods, systems and procedures, analysing proposes and, where possible, implementing alternatives
- Supervising basic intermediate vocational work

**What we’re looking for in our Operations Manager**:

- Higher vocational degree and operational/supervisory experience
- The ability to communicate effectively when instructing internal stakeholders in relation to chosen solutions based on content-driven arguments
- Customer focus and drive for results, business acumen, listening, motivating others, developing direct reports and others, priority setting, dealing with ambiguity
- Experience in driving fanatical customer service
- Fluent knowledge of English, spoken and written. Other language skills (Dutch, German, Spanish, French and/or Italian) would be an advantage
