We are currently looking to recruit a Group Financial Controller. This is a senior position which is part of our Senior Leadership team. Within this role you will manage an excellent team who are based remotely and across 2 offices

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Management of the financial reporting and control team and the supporting the day to day management of the wider finance team alongside your peers in the management accounting, FP&A and credit control teams.
- Managing the planning & preparation of all annual subsidiary statutory accounts to agreed deadlines.
- Ownership of the preparation of the Group annual report and financial statements, including coordination of senior stakeholders to ensure documents are reviewed and feedback is incorporated and tracked.
- Management of the external audit, planning and timing of statutory accounts audit work and managing the interaction with the delivery of statutory reporting.
- Delivery of the month end flash reporting, group consolidation and cashflow reporting, providing high level concise commentary and analysis of results.
- Preparation of the monthly board report, including co-ordination of senior contributors and ensuring feedback is incorporated and tracked.
- Support as required to the Management accounting and FP&A teams on technical and any other reporting matters.
- Providing support to the FP&A team during the budget and forecasting process.
- Review and delivery of the quarterly covenant workings.
- Responsible for the review of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Guiding and mentoring direct reports as well as the wider finance team.

**Skills and Experience Required**

**Preferred**:

- Experience of working within a listed or PE backed environment.
- Knowledge of Dimensions, Sage & Netsuite.

**Essential**:

- Qualified Accountant.
- Extensive experience of preparing and submitting Group and subsidiary statutory accounts.
- Extensive experience of preparing consolidations and cashflows.
- Extensive IFRS and FRS102 knowledge.
- Resilient and able to meet targets in a pressured environment.
- Previous experience of managing a financial reporting team.
- Experience of working and reporting into board members.
- Producing accurate information first time.
- Capability to work in a fast paced/high change business
- Excellent time management skills
