**SENIOR CHILDREN'S SUPPORT WORKER**

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated **Senior Support Worker** to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality support to individuals—particularly children—helping them achieve personal goals, maintain well-being, and lead more independent lives.

As a Senior Support Worker, you'll play a key role in delivering hands-on care while also guiding and supporting team members to ensure the highest standards are maintained across all services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide practical and emotional support to individuals in their daily lives
- Promote independence and self-care through consistent, person-centred support
- Implement and monitor individualised care plans, making adjustments as needed
- Foster strong relationships with families, professionals, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach
- Safely transport individuals to appointments or activities (if required)
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of care, incidents, and progress
- Use IT systems effectively for documentation and communication
- Actively participate in staff training and development
- Support junior staff by offering guidance and sharing best practices

**What We're Looking For**:

- Proven experience working with children or in a childcare/support setting
- Strong knowledge of care planning and support strategies
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
- A valid driving licence is preferred
- Confident in using IT for record keeping and communication
- A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to care
- A genuine passion for making a positive difference in people’s lives

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour

**Experience**:

- Residential Childcare: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- DBS Registered on the Update Service (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (required)
