We are seeking an ambitious individual who wishes to develop a successful career within the accounts department for this progressive business. Opportunities exist for career development if an individual wishes to pursue it. This position is located in Glossop, Derbyshire.
**Main duties**:
- Matching, checking and processing supplier invoices
- Setting up of new supplier/customer accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Data entry
- Daily posting of transactions and bank reconciliations
- Assisting in credit control
- Purchase order processing
- Assisting in month end duties
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary
- Various other tasks that MD requests
The position is full time, permanent, 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday, with 1 hour for lunch. Competitive salary based on experience
**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**:
- Knowledge of Zoho Books an advantage (full training provided)
- Knowledge of Google Drive an advantage (full training provided)
- Proficient on spreadsheets
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid team working skills
- Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature
- Demonstrable experience of bookkeeping
- Ability to work accurately and to deadlines
