Peacocks Medical Group, based in Newcastle upon Tyne and Southampton, is a vibrant and exciting manufacturing business which provides orthotic clinical services and manufactures orthoses and custom-made footwear to clients across the UK. A key partner to a number of NHS Trusts, with service contracts spread from the South Coast to the North East, the business has achieved national and international recognition for expertise in specialities as diverse as orthopaedics, rheumatology, neurology, paediatrics, diabetes and spinal orthotics.

We are looking to appoint an experienced individual into the role of **Customer Service Team Leader **at our **Newcastle upon Tyne **offices**.**

In this role the position holder will be responsible for key account management for a defined set of customers and building strong relationships.

Other responsibilities will include:

- Prompt and accurate resolution to customer queries.
- Providing a point of escalation to customers when required.
- Overseeing the order processing and order management of sales orders, expediting where required.
- Management of overdue orders and delays from suppliers, highlighting any trends or concerns to the CS Manager.
- Owning all queries and liaising with internal departments to provide resolution to the Customer.
- Supporting the CS Manager to achieve department and customer KPIs.
- Support onboarding of new customers.
- Train and support the CS team in ‘best practice’.
- First point of contact for people related tasks such as holidays, absence, and informal discussions.

To be considered for this role, you will be an exceptional communicator, extremely proactive and have the ability to work to deadlines within a demanding customer focused environment with a can-do attitude and ability to motive and coach team members. Ideally you will have 3+years’ experience in a similar environment working with or within an NHS setting.
