Supplier Relationship Manager
Location: Leicester, LE1 Hybrid working from home 3 days per week

**Salary**: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum DOE
Monday to Friday
Permanent Vacancy, 37.5 hours a week
The Opportunity
My client is a large company who is on the hiring trail following a huge contract win with a prominent global client. Their central team operates an exciting, fast paced, client driven / facing environment. to a wide range of complex and sophisticated clientsthroughout the UK. Operating in the corporate, healthcare, education, retail & leisure and local authority & central government sectors, the company creates and implements bespoke solutions to improve the performance and value derived from non-core activity.
The Role
In summary, you’ll be responsible for the Performance Management of all suppliers within the agreed frameworks, managing expectations, improving the performance of under achieving suppliers, being responsible for onboarding new suppliers and making recommendationsto off board under performing suppliers.
Key Duties:
The operational and tactical management of suppliers in accordance with the requirements of its clients.
Provide supplier performance and market intelligence to internal customers to maximise its commercial opportunities
Responsible for the delivery of new supplier integrations and communication
Hold structured review meetings with appropriate contractors, suppliers and professional bodies to develop a constructive and open relationship to mutual advantage
Manage formal performance improvement process where required, ensuring that it is done in line with contractual obligations
Be credible in front of suppliers and clients when discussing tools and techniques used to monitor and measure supplier performance.
Establish appropriate action plans to manage underperforming suppliers.
Work collaboratively with internal departments to maintain positive and open relationships
In collaboration with stakeholders, support the implementation of all risk controls and measures in respect of the Supplier Management Policy
Undertake annual benchmark and costing review with suppliers to ensure value for money
Core competencies should include exposure to project management principles and data analysis experience.
MCIPS qualified or working towards is preferred
The Benefits
Salary guide c£45k pending level of experience and qualification. Study support for MCIPS will be offered where required. There’s also a contributory pension scheme, 25 days holiday and retail discount scheme.
