Head Barista/supervisor

**Job Summary**

Shift patterns will be between 4 & 5 days per week.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensuring that each drink is crafted to perfection. This position requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, taking orders accurately and answering any questions regarding menu items.
- Handle cash transactions and manage the till with basic maths skills.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Uphold health and safety regulations while preparing food and beverages.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food preparation or as a Barista is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A friendly disposition with exceptional customer service skills.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
