Are you an experienced bookkeeper / Accounts semi senior from a general accountancy practice background looking to work for a boutique practice in London, which has a broad array of clients from various creative and construction industries?

Your role will be in a truly general practice environment with exposure to all the following areas:

- Preparing and reviewing financial statements for clients including Statutory Accounts, management accounts and income and expenditure accounts
- Maintaining bookkeeping records on bookkeeping software including Xero, CCH and QuickBooks
- Preparing Self-Assessment Tax Returns
- Preparing Corporation Tax Returns
- Preparing Construction Industry Returns
- Preparing monthly payroll
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns.
- Ad hoc tax planning and advisory work
- Assisting the director with more technical work and developing your career

The firm will also allow flexible working, including working from home (based on agreed conditions after an initial settling in period). A very strong emphasis is put on the advisory side of accountancy and you will be expected to provide value added adviceto your clients on a regular basis. Your client base will be varied and include an impressive array of SME sized businesses, mostly from the creative and construction industry sectors. The firm uses CCH for accounts preparation as well as Xero, Quickbooksand Sage for bookkeeping and payroll.

To be considered for this new role you must have previous relevant experience of working in an accountancy practice for a minimum of 2 years. **Ideally y**ou will be suitably qualified or in the later stages of your bookkeeping / accountancy qualification**. You must have experience preparing statutory accounts from start to finish, as well as preparing corporation taxreturns. Experience of dealing with personal tax, tax advisory, bookkeeping, payroll and VAT returns would also be required. You must be a team player and be able to work in a small sized firm in a hands on role. Experience of a range of software packageswould be an advantage particularly CCH, Xero, Sage50 and Quickbooks.
