We are very excited to be partnering with a fantastic Training Provider based in Derby that has built the foundations for growth but is missing this key Business Development Manager position.
This Employer is looking for a dynamic, confident and experienced Business Development Manager, with experience of apprenticeship levy apprenticeship sales across marketing, management and media apprenticeship standards.
For the first 3 months the role will be office based with a view to become hybrid after this period.
The package available for the position of Business Development Manager:
Basic salary of £35000 - £38000.
27 days holiday plus public holidays.
Competitive pension.
Free on-site parking.

The Role of Business Development Manager:

- Building a cold desk from the ground up so requires a hungry and tenacious/ambitious salesperson/account manager with experience of cold calling, networking, social media, etc.
- Generate new clients to bring in apprenticeship starts and manage existing relationships with current clients.
- Gain product knowledge to be able to effectively sell apprenticeships to new clients.
- Targeted to a minimum of 10 apprenticeship starts per month.

Skills, qualifications and experience required for the position of Business Development Manager:

- Strong experience of business development and sales with clear evidence of an ability to develop new business within a training provider is necessary.
- Evidence of building up effective working relationships with our current clients, while seeking new opportunities in a competitive marketplace via cold calling, marketing, networking, etc.
- Up to date knowledge of apprenticeship standards and funding requirements.
- Evidence of achieving and exceeding KPIs in a similar previous role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- A keen eye for detail and a fantastic talent for customer service.
- A full drivers’ licence is essential for this position and access to transport.
