Location: Hinckley
**Summary of the Role**
Our client - a successful manufacturing organisation based in Hinckley - is seeking experienced, motivated Accounts Assistant to join their Finance Team on a full-time permanent basis.
**Key duties include**:

- Responsibility for the purchase ledgers of BWI (experience in multicurrency transactions preferable)
- Matching of goods received notes (GRNs) and purchase orders to purchase invoices using Syspro Accounts and following up on variances
- Processing weekly supplier payment runs in line with agreed payment terms
- Regular review and follow up of outstanding GRNs
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Processing expenses
- Bank reconciliations
- Regular reporting to FD and Management Accountant regarding future payment projections to inform cash flow forecasts
- Identifying and driving process improvements
- Creating reports e.g. GRNs and KPIs
- Supporting Accounts Receivable
- Supporting Management Accountant with variance analysis, accruals and other tasks as required

Since you will be a key player in the team, full training will be provided but you are expected to be a hand on and proactive team player.
**The Right Person**
- Good level of experience in Accounts payable, month end processes and willing to learn other aspects of finance
- Self-driven in nature; continuously looking to develop processes and improve efficiency
- Be self-motivated, have a can-do attitude and hands on approach
- Organised with a methodical approach to problem solving
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong excel skills
- Develop and maintain strong relationships within finance team and other internal/external staff (including non-finance staff)
